Piccadilly Records - As always, we’re excited to welcome a special roster of jocks to soundtrack the day’s vinyl frenzy
12pm-1pm: Camilla Reghenzi
Keeping it stylish from the off, we’ve Italian DJ Camilla Reghenzi opening proceedings on the day. Currently making waves across Manchester’s airwaves via shows on Crop and Reform Radio, she’s known for her well-curated and deeply eclectic DJ sets, which she’s performed at festivals such as We Out Here and Sounds From The Other City. Looks like it’ll be itchy feet and shuffling bums right from the off as we’re kept on our toes from this fledging DJ talent. Get those tunes bagged early and get amongst the fun!

1pm-2pm: Léna C
After three years of trying – we’ve finally managed to secure Léna C! A truly outernational DJ and producer whose main influence is the wide world and all its various sonic flavours. Piquing our interest via a tasteful release on Sprechen in 2023, she’s since played at Giles Peterson’s Worldwide festival, Gottwood and Green Island; as well as gigs across the northwest alongside the likes of Andy Votel and Crazy P. Whether its zouk, afrobeats, psychedelic soul or modern jazz; it’ll be a vibrant and engrossing selection from this deep diving record collector.

2pm-3pm: Ellen Beth Abdi
A true rising star in the Piccadilly Records vernacular, having cut her teeth warming up for (and playing with) A Certain Ratio for much of 2023-2024, Ellen Beth-Abdi is finally ready to take the world by storm with her new, self-titled solo album. But as well as being one of Manchester’s finest new jazz and soul voices, she’s also a bit of a whizz behind the decks! So we’ve roped her in to take us through what tracks make this songbird tick – how exciting!

3pm-4pm: Joey T
Joey T makes his Pic Recs DJ debut after featuring in our end of year chart two years ago for the “Love Language” EP. A familiar face across Manchester’s nocturnal program, a residency for Luke Una’s E Soul Cultura and appearances at Pikes, Re:Percussions and Homoelectric have boosted this young buck right to the top of the pyramid – but it’s his endless charm, top tunes and unaltered enthusiasm that’s won us over. Whether it’s disco, house or Balearic beats – Joey T will have us bobbing and wobbling through the afternoon with gleeful abandon.

4pm-5pm: Deb Grant (6 Music)
As is the theme of late, 6Music are well represented once more! This year sees Dublin-born, now Chorlton-residing Deb Grant take to our 1s and 2s. The music columnist and radio presenter responsible for breaking the freshest new music across all genres will be delving into her weird and wonderful vinyl collection for us all to enjoy here at the shop. Expect the unexpected as they say in the biz…

5pm-6pm: WU LYF
For the cult indie heads – we’ve a bit of a coup this year as we’ve got Manchester’s allusive and legendary WU LYF DJ’ing for us. Ahead of their just-announced Kings Arms residency (and perhaps some new music?!), Joe and Ellery will be dropping by and dropping bombs from their record bags to keep us hooked as the day draws to a conclusion.
